Eddy young

Born and raised​ in San Diego since 1996, Eddy Young graduated from San Diego State University in 2018 with a Bachelor's in Political Science and is currently going for his Masters in Creative Writing (in Fiction) at the same university. Young drew inspiration from Orwell's 1984 and The Hunger Games to write The Forsaken. His favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird, which also inspired him to write and continue exploring some of its themes. In his free time, Young likes to play video games or watch movies for inspiration such as his favorite game The Last of Us and movie The Lord of the Rings. He also likes to play Ultimate Frisbee and has played with the SDSU Federales sports club team.

I've always wanted to tell an epic story everyone and anyone could enjoy. Most importantly, I've always wanted to create my own characters that people can relate to and who they can connect. This is the culmination of everything I have read, seen, heard, and studied. This is my passion project and something I have pursued for some time. My main inspiration for many of my characters and plots are based on some of my real life friends, books, video games, and movies.
